Dorta & Co. Finance was founded on November 1, 2024, by Felipe Dorta da Silva, a finance professional with a unique journey spanning three continents and over a decade of hands-on market experience.

Felipe’s financial journey began in December 2016 when he purchased his first stock BOVA11 in the Brazilian market—guided by his mentor Ricardo, a 25-year banking veteran from Banco Safra who became both business partner and lifelong friend. Together, they now co-own a pharmacy business, applying financial discipline to real-world entrepreneurship.

From day trading to swing trading, from options to fixed income, from Brazilian funds to international markets, Felipe has navigated virtually every aspect of investing through self-directed learning and real capital at risk. This practical experience winning and losing, adjusting and evolving forms the foundation of Dorta & Co. Finance’s educational approach.

In pursuit of deeper expertise and global perspective, Felipe relocated to Australia, where he completed a VET course in Leadership Management and began a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CPA certification. He gained professional experience at Primarius, an Australian finance office specializing in tax returns, mastering the intricacies of international tax planning.

Today, Felipe holds investments across three markets Brazil, the United States, and Australia giving him unique insight into diverse financial systems, regulatory environments, and investment opportunities.
